BIOGRAPHY
Synco Records is proud to present worldwide salsa recording artist Emo Luciano. Emo was discovered by Grammy nominee Larry Harlow, whom after seeing this charismatic crooner perform, chose him to be lead vocalist for bis orchestra. It was during bis international tour with Larry Harlow's Orchestra that the music world first began to take notice of this sexy latin singer. Fania Records was one of the first to recognize his crowd appeal and jumped on the opportunity to add him to their long list of Grammy award winning artists. His first solo CD, self-titled "Emo" was released amid much fanfare in 1995. During his world tour to promote his solo CD, Emo pulled double duty and still remained on as Larry Harlow's lead vocalist. This grinding schedule included playing in some of the world's most prestigious venues, some of those being the Monterey Jazz Festival in California, the North Sea Jazz Festival in Germany, the Chicago Jazz Festival in Chicago and the Hitachinaka Jazz Festival in Japan where he, along with other members from the Latin Legends, were recently inducted into their Jazz Hall of Fame. He also made his impact felt while performing in concerts in North America, Europe, Asia and South America with his ability to incite crowds with spellbinding soneos and feverish dance moves. As recognition for this desirable performer grew, so did the demand for bis talent. Emo was called to perform with great singers like Lalo Rodriguez, Ismael Miranda, Pete El Conde, Adalberto Santiago and Giro. He then had the honor of being called to record with "The Latin Legends" featuring other accomplished musicians such as Ray Barretto, Johnny Pacheco, Giovanni Hildalgo, Dave Valentine and Larry Harlow, to name a few. This recording, released in 1998, was titled "Larry Harlow and the Latin Legends" under Jerry Masucci Music. After taking some time off to broaden his artistry in other aspects of music, such as arranging, recording, engineering, and producing, Synco Records thought it was time to satisfy the craving of his many loyal fans. His musical genius is felt throughout this new CD, as he had a hand in all elements of production: writing, singing, producing and directing this endeavor.
